Tech Conference 2019

Today, Danish business and educational institutions are on the verge of “the fourth industrial revolution” driven by the rapid digital and technological development. New technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, blockchain, robotics, and Big data are not only useful tools, they also radically challenge the business models, forms of knowledge and production methods we know.

The new intelligent industry, or industry 4.0, is already well on its way. Experts predict that mass production will be replaced by individualized and context-specific solutions, and that finished products will be replaced by products that can be continuously change and adapted through software updates. Earnings move from physical products to services, and the production process also undergoes a further digitization and automation process.

For Danish companies and knowledge institutions, it is therefore necessary to be able to navigate in this new field of opportunity as soon as possible. For how do you prepare for the digital transformation? What can the technologies be used for? What business models and value chains do they open up for? And what challenges do you have to pay attention to?

The conference “Ready for digital transformation” addresses some of these issues and focuses on the enormous growth potentials and challenges of the new technologists.
