Meet the candidates

Christopher Røhl

Christopher is mayoral candidate for Radikale Venstre.

He lives in Ørestad Syd with his son and wife and holds a PhD in nanotechnology from DTU. He works for more housing, a vibrant city and a greener city.

Anette Thaulow

Anette Thaulow is an independent candidate who runs for list  #U. She is focused on building affordable apartments, and young citizens should cover open positions in day care and in 0.-4. school classes. Underground parking in all car/ populated areas. More green leisure spaces. Free transport for daycare workers and children. She suggests political focus on visible local police in all local districts and anonymous substance abuse counseling in all districts. The elderly should be taken better care of, and eldercare must cover at least 2 hours per week.

Tobias Zimling

Tobias Zimling is a candidate for the Copenhagen City Council representing SF (Danish Green Left). He has been teaching since 2009 and holds a Master’s degree in Learning Processes and Change Management. As chair of Ørestad IF, he represents 2,500 active residents and works to improve sports facilities and strengthen local communities.

His political focus is on safe and inclusive public schools where every child is seen, a green city with clean air and more urban nature, and safe, accessible traffic for everyone. Tobias Zimling believes that politics should make a real difference in daily life – in schools, in transport, and in community life – and that community, safety, and sustainability must go hand in hand in a Copenhagen with room for everyone.

Laura Hjarvard Raaschou

Laura Hjarvard Raaschou is a Copenhagen City Council candidate for the Independent Greens (Frie Grønne, Q). A dedicated feminist, mother, with a 7-year tenure at the Danish Red Cross, Laura is currently pursuing a degree in social education.

Her platform is built on two key pillars: the well-being of children and accelerating the transformation to a planet-protecting economy. She advocates for a more balanced society, and believes that the world would be a better place if adults could take naps during work and children could spend more time with friends in nature.
